News
July 2026: I spoke at AGGITatE 2026 at the University of Essex, part of the Isaac Newton Institute programme "Algebraic groups, geometry, invariants and related topics".

October 2025: New preprint with Praise Adeyemo and Fabián Levicán, Embeddings of weighted projective spaces.

May 2025: Research in Teams at the Erwin Schrödinger Institute in Vienna, and a lecture course on lattice polytopes at Algebra and Geometry from Africa, ICMS Edinburgh.

I'm a geometer, working at the interface of algebraic and discrete geometry. I work in moduli theory and like computational problems.

I'm a postdoc in the research group Algorithmic Algebra of Prof. Peter Bürgisser at TU Berlin, and an Associate Lecturer at the Open University.

In 2025 I held a Research in Teams fellowship at the Erwin Schrödinger Institute in Vienna, and in 2024 I was a visiting scholar at the Isaac Newton Institute in Cambridge. Before Berlin, I was a lecturer at Makerere University, Kampala.

I did my Ph.D under the supervision of Prof. Victoria Hoskins at FU Berlin.

Much of my work is connected to mathematics in Africa — I sit on the programme committee of the MATH+ Young African Mathematicians fellowship and collaborate with the Eastern Africa Algebra Research Group.
